Should you wish to rotate a PDF file (and by golly why would you not?), use the previously mentioned
pdftk set of tools as follows:
pdftk ruggedletter.pdf cat 1-endE output ruggedletterA.pdf
You can use
E,W,S instead of the
E to achieve different levels of rotation! From the manpage:
Each option sets the page rotation as follows (in degrees): N: 0, E: 90, S: 180, W: 270, L: -90, R: +90, D: +180. L, R, and D make relative adjustments to a page’s rotation.
